Is USF for REAL?? Do they deserve to be ranked as high as they are? In my opinion, they are good/average at best! Look at their schedule and results thus far!
Their games won so far are: Elon, Auburn, North Carolina & West Virginia. Elon should have been a landslide score–they only won by 15 points–remember Elon is only a 1AA team! Good victory against Auburn–only a 3 point margin though! North Carolina, good victory–not a football school though–basketball definitely! Finally, West Virginia was a huge game for them–but don't jump the gun sooo quickly! Was WV properly ranked before the game? Remember this is the year of Michigan being ranked TOP 5???????
I'm not taking anything away for USF–I am only making a point that they are vulnerable and they can be conquered!
GO FAU OWLS!

Auburn-COMPLETED DOMINATED that game and if the Kicker hadn't blown chunks, it would've been UGLY early forcing Auburn to the pass even earlier where we were really eating their lunch. A few more FGs and even getting ANY points off the turnovers that game is a BLOW OUT. Need we remind anyone this win was against the team in their house who just went into UFs house and knocked them off? You know, the same UF who won it all last year who was ranked in the top ten this year?
UNC-Anyone who watched this game knows it could've easily been 30-10 in the second quarter. Even worse, Leavitt took out all the starters on offense in the THIRD QUARTER and ran a very vanilla, kill the clock type offense along with removing all the starters on "D" allowing UNC to kill the clock as they inched their way around picking up garbage yards. This is the same UNC team who only lost last weekend to VIRGINIA TECH 17-10 who is a top 20 team.
WVU-We DOMINATED WVU who was SMOKING defenses with the same offense that won the bowl game last year with the addition of the most electric freshman RB in the country with an improved defense and they still lost. Not too mention, they even had TWO of our coaches from last year on their team to help them prepare for this game and we were actually down a STUD NT we had last year who was kicked off the team this year in Julmiste. Needless to say, if Leavitt had pulled the reigns in on Grothe instead of letting him air it out and get picked immediately after those turnovers, thus negating the advantage from a points and rest standpoint, we BLOW THEM OUT as well.
Not one game this year has USF been behind except for when AU went up 17-14 for a few minutes and we know how that ended up.

Elon-game was never in doubt, made no sense to blow them out and everything was being saved for Auburn who was ranked in the top 20 who we were going to be playing IN THEIR HOUSE. We ran basically 3 plays the entire game.

You mean when AU led at halftime & ALL of the 3rd qtr. That's domination!!! ;D
Remember, FAU has already lost, in the eyes of USF fans. So, we have nothing to lose, but USF has EVERYTHING to lose, with a loss to FAU. EVERYTHING!!!!

Nevermind that the entire time we were on their side of the field missing FG after FG after FG while there offense was doing absolutely nothing…cjdub21 said

Yeah, we got that already……..been said plenty of times. No one is looking past you guys. But you can keep convincing yourself that USF is overrated and looking past you. Whatever. And to come off saying that we're a so so team after our defense ate up one of the hottest offensive powers in D-1A. That's just crazy. Imagine if the owls beat WV and everyone kept giving every excuse why you beat them and why WV should have won that game, blah blah blah. We've been hearing that crap forever now and it's getting old. Good luck on Saturday…….you're going to need it.
