Why they won't: The Owls' last three games are on the road, even if one of the road games is in Miami - about an hour from FAU's campus in Boca Raton.

Troy is listed as bowl eligible. If they finish 0-2 and FAU 3-0 FAU will win the Sun Belt and go to the N.O. Bowl game.
Otherwise Troy goes to the N.O. Bowl.
Will the Sun Belt get two bowl teams this year or not until next year?
I don't think a 6-6 finish will get the Sun Belt and invitation to a 2'nd Bowl game.

32 bowls means 64 teams are bowling and 58 have already qualified (6 spots left, with 20 other teams besides us one game away from qualifying)….looks like we NEED to win both Sun Belt games!!!  If there is any other choice, I doubt a bowl selection committee will select a Sun Belt team at the bottom of the league in home attendance who does not travel well.  Troy, on the otherhand would be much more likely to get a invite to fill an open spot in a bowl.
