Hello everyone. I hope you all are enjoying your Thanksgiving break.
Coach Schnellenberger has asked me to try to coordinate a caravan to fall in behind our police escort of the team buses on Saturday for our trip down to the Orange Bowl. We are trying to coordinate it so the marching band buses will be leaving from the Oxley Center at 4:00pm with a campus police escort which will meet up with and integrate into the police escort for the Team buses that will be leaving the hotel at the same time.
Coach would like you all to try to put out the word that we will be encouraging anyone interested to fall in behind the escort as it passes through South Florida on I-95 to the Orange Bowl. I’ll be working on a timetable that will give approximate timing of when we will be passing the different exits so people can join the caravan without making the trip to Boca Raton.
There are two options for fans wishing to caravan with the team and band buses:
1. Meet at the Embassy Suites (team hotel)at 661 NW 53rd Street Boca Raton, Florida 33487
at 3:30 in order to leave by 4:00 or
2. Meet at the Oxley Center where the band will gather before departure at 3:30 and leave by or before 4:00 to meet up with the team buses on I-95.

This is an email I got from Bobbie Jo Belus, thought I'd pass is along…
This is SUCH a good idea. I wish they had thought of it earlier but what can you do! I hope it goes over well. Next year we'll have more advance warning so it can be bigger!

I think it's a good idea too but in usual FAU style they send out an email 24 hours before the game on a holiday weekend where today happens to be the busiest travel day of the year lol.
How about next year announce it before the season and put up flyers and announcements and remind fans about it throughout the season, anytime we play FIU or play at Dolphins Stadium they should have a caravan like they'd like to have for this game
