I love to see his pro style offense in these days of spread and other offenses. It was certainly a trip down memory lane for this Card fan.
We are enjoying the photo of his gatorade shower on our boards. He ddn't get one in his last bowl win in 93 against Michigan State because he had the flu real bad and believe me, it was one of the coldest football nights I've ever witnessed in the Liberty Bowl.
Your program is a joy to see unfolding. He saved two programs and has now started a third (I know you've been around a while but your first bowl is a special event in your program).
I would ask you to cherish your time with HS. He is a living legend and probably the best college football coach out there. He brought Louisville back from the dead and though others have taken us further I will always have fond memories of my time as a student during his tenure at the Ville. In some ways it hasn't been the same since he left. I know he's not leaving Boca but he isn't a Spring chicken anymore. I hope you get more than 10 years out of him. 10 years wasn't enough for most of us.
Here's to continued success

Absolutely fantastic to see the Pipe do it again! You guys have a great team down there and it's great to see a Howard team hitting on all cylinders.

Thanx for the words. Also, I HATE THE SPREAD OFFENSE. It's gimmicky, & IMO it's just a fad. Just wait, when all of these schools that have it & then their QB goes down(i.e. Oregon), then their team immediately turns to CRAP, because no one can run it. Also, the NFL will suffer, because most of these schools are copying each other with the spread & there are very few "Real" QB's out there.
I'm done. Whew!!!!!

By the way, we need Brian Brohm on the Dolphins, anyway you can hide some drugs on him so he falls to the second round?? ;)

not likely, Brian is the real deal when it comes to character. Whatever team gets him will get a solid citizen.
As for the return visit to Papa John's I'm sure our AD would work out a return as Howard is highly thought of in the Ville.

The fact that you are on this board congratulating the bowl win is a real testament to the man's legacy.
Thanks for sharing, we love H.S., he has given so much to so many programs. :-*

This is great stuff, you guys owe a lot to Howard and so do we, i would love to see the owls play Miami as well as Louisville before Howard steps down, obviously i would love to see the owls win both games as well, but just to have him be a part of both games would be very special.
and hopefully we'd play closer than the 61-10 trouncing last time louisville gave us :P
