Welsh was fired as the Friars' coach after a 10-season stint in which he made two NCAA tournaments. He had a 160-143 record with the Friars.
I wouldn't mind this guy. He's not from a major program but he's been to 2 NCAA tourneys and knows what it takes to get there. He showed long term commitment to Providence
My two favorite teams are FAU, and who ever is beating FIU!

He's the one on that list that stood out. Who knows what his situation is or if he'd be interested in this job, but his experience and past success jumped out at me.
