This is getting completely out of control….I've never seen a coaching search on any level mishandled this way. We better end up with the greatest coach ever. Over a month and a million interviews later and (depending on who you believe) still can't make an offer to anyone??

BUT, this is getting REDICULOUS…and completely makes us look like children in an administrative capacity…

Remember that Brogan and Angelos have both said they're in no hurry to do this. That's the main problem right there.

And granted, Angelos has to be more careful this time and there have been graduations to tie up Brogan's time. Plus, someone responded to a recent article saying that Brogan is taking Ph.D. classes at Lynn… don't know if that's true and/or how it's affecting his schedules.

They have said that they are in no hurry, but Brogan also said his goal was to have a coach in place by the Sun Belt meetings on the 18th.  That leaves tomorrow and Saturday to get a coach hired.

Technically they are right that there is no reason to hurry, but they don't gain anything by dragging this out.   Candidates, players, recruits, fans…we all want this over with.  It has taken too long already.  Now there is the issue with the contract and it going through the BOT for approval.  Why wasn't this done as they were interviewing candidates?  They have had a month to draw up a simple legal document.  >:(

With the way this is going, can you imagine how long a football coach search is going to take whenever Howard decides to retire??

Lol…too long…would absolutely CRIPPLE the program…
