Very nice given the timeframe MJ had to do it in…no complaints here.
Quote of interest:
"Speedy 6-foot point guard Alex Tucker, a product of Redondo Union High School, committed to FAU after attending Summit College Prep in Simi Valley, California, playing for Summit's elite prep program which is recognized as one of the best nationwide.
If he can run thier team, i'd say MJ thinks he can run ours pretty well too

Will update more information as i find it…please do the same

Any info on the Mercer transfer? Will he have to sit out a year? It'd be nice to have him on the active roster to at least add a little size. Thanks for the heads up!
yes, he will sit a year…
looks like we will be small this year…but we got two scorers in the class

I don't know why Jarvis persued a transfer that has to sit out a year unless he is a good find. He could have used the scholly for next year's recruits.
He might be looking for bodies to scrimmage also. Might as well get good ones.

Possibly, but the guy looks solid at first glance…he was the class signee for Slonaker it appears…he is also 6-9 and 240LBS, and has pretty good athleticism for our league level of play…which we need…even if he plays the back up role, he is better than what we have right now at the five spot- which is nothing…

Wiry-quick point guard who is a solid one for the next level. Tucker is an unselfish player who is quite possibly the most athletic point guard prospect in the class. Possesses great quickness and speed, however, his decision-making is rather erratic at times and his shot needs a lot of work. Overall, though, he is receiving interest from a solid amount of west coast mid-majors.

I wonder if Jarvis being a Christian has any pull here with the prep school kids coming from Christian schools….if so could be useful.

I see that Tucker and Davis are both 2-stars on scout. Gagel is zero stars and I couldn't find Richardson. Both Gagel and Tucker are listed at 5-11…yikes.
IMO, Richardson is the prize of the class…he is a combo guard that can shake, bake, and take opposing players off of the dribble…he also has a great stroke from any distance…and beyond the arch…
Respectfully, the stars dont mean much…this, however, does:
Last Season's Stats
FGA 183
FGM 125
FG% 68% ← this is just plain rediculous.
3PFGA 92
3PFGM 63
3PFG% 68% ← and so is this.
The counter argument is going to be "they didnt play big schools, etc" and the stats don't reflect playing against D1 or even top HS defenses…
Well, to that i respond, look at who recruited him, and make a case of circumstantial speculation that he has talent in the eyes of one of the most storied coaches ever to coach D1 ball.
Can he play defense is another question in entirety though?
