I just talked to my friends in the ticket office and the Texas tickets are expected to be sent out with the season ticket packages, they said hopefully this Wednesday.
They also didn't know what section we were assigned, but talk on the Texas message boards has visitors sitting in Section 32. The UT people all seem pleased with this since they say it farther away from the field and the sight lines are bad. Here's a map of the stadium:

There is nothing confirmed as Canadian Owl said about where we are sitting. However, because of the tailgate spot we were assigned, which is near the new bleachers on what use to be the open-end of the stadium, section 32 would seem logical. That makes it easy to get from our tailgate into the stadium, although the line of site isn't the greatest.
Sometimes, I just shake my head and try to forget some of the decisions made at FAU.

Please explain how this has anything to do with FAU?
The home team decides where the visiting teams fans sit. Many times they are relegated to the upper deck in bleeder seats.

Unless something has changed, you will be in 13-15 and the upper deck associated with this. I never sat there… so I do not know about the view from there. I imagine it isn't good.
Just curious….how much would it cost to scalp a ticket in the lower bowl?
