I am a little late getting this up, but here goes.

This is going to be a shootout. Minnesota has struggled against lesser talent, but still comes in with 3-0 record and the desire to not lose to FAU for the second straight year.

FAU still has not lived up to all of the preseason hype. This game needs to be a statement game for FAU. Minnesota is currently ranked #54 in the country so it should be a solid test for FAU.

Smith should throw for 300+ yards and 3 or more TDs. If FAU can convert in the redzone and eliminate penalties and turnovers they will have a very good chance of winning. I expect to see a stronger defensive performance from FAU as well.

FEARLESS PREDICTION: FAU 45 Minnesota 38.
