Here are the conference games for today:

As much as I would love for the Red Wolves to pull an upset in this game, the Tides have way to much to lose by allowing themselves to sleep walk in this one & a reminder from last years lost to the Warhawks still fresh in their minds to not allow a let down to happen again.

The Red Wolves will be over matched as the Tides will roll in this one.

North Texas at Western Kentucky - 4:30pmET
If the Mean Green have a chance to win a game this season, it will be this one.

The Hilltoppers have played better football then the the Mean Green have and even thought North Texas have shown some life on offense lately, their defense is still horrible and could be the difference maker in this one.

I will give the slight edge to the home team on this one.

Prediction: Western Kentucky


Florida International at Louisiana-Lafayette - 5:00pm ET
This is a game that will have the biggest impact on how the Sun-Belt race develops today.

The Panthers hold a (2-1) conference record while the Cajun sit with a perfect (3-0) record with some nice momentum heading into this match-up.

The Golden Panthers will look to right the ship after suffering their first conference lost to Troy.  The biggest question in this game will be, can the panthers slow down the offensive power of the Cajuns?

The Cajuns will prove however to have too much fire power and should keep their quest for a Belt Title intact.

Troy at Louisiana-Monroe - 7:00pm ET
The Trojans are sitting pretty at the top of the Belt standings at 4-0, looking to continue their dominance of conference foes as they face a team still licking their wounds, the Warhawk was a team that was suppose to be contenders, but have found themselves looking up yet again.

Even though the Trojans are limping around, they continue to find consistency on offense.  The Warhawks on the other hand seem to always start out slow and finish strong  in conference play and could prove yet again that it will continue to fight and could give the Trojan more then they bargain for today.

The logical team to pick would be the Trojans of Troy, but for some reason I feel that this game has upset potential written all over it.

Prediction: Louisiana-Monroe
