FAU can handle Fenroy

Despite last week's 37-24 loss to UTEP, the Cajuns will finish this season with a winning record at home. They are 3-1, with the lone remaining home game on Dec. 3 against Middle Tennessee. It marks the sixth time in seven years that the program has posted a winning home record … UL coach Rickey Bustle is 12-11 lifetime in November. He gets another shot in Saturday's 3 p.m. game at defending Sun Belt and New Orleans Bowl champions Florida Atlantic … With 4,448 career rushing yards, UL running back Tyrell Fenroy needs 110 yards to break the state's all-time mark of 4,557 set by former Carencro High and LSU star Kevin Faulk. Fenroy has rushed for at least 100 yards against every current Sun Belt school but Florida Atlantic. He ran for 82 yards and one touchdown against the Owls as a freshman, 91 yards as a sophomore and 90 yards as a junior … FAU ranks 115th out of 119 FBS schools in turnover margin per game (negative-1.22). The Owls have turned it over 23 times and produced only 12 takeaways this season but have won three consecutive games.

Re: FAU can handle Fenroy

FAU has the chops to limit him. Our offense will be a big part of that. The offense needs to sustain long drives and keep Fenroy off the field. That way the defense will be fresh when he does get in the game. If we hold him under 100 yards FAU wins hands down.

GO OWLS!!!
