Why do we want La Lafeyette to beat MTSU??

I guess it was because we have beaten ULL and the MUTS have a quality win against Maryland.  What we need is a media blitz (HS get on it) where we make our case, youngest team, record setting, etc etc, nobody cares about the MUTS but the problem with ULL is they have proximity over us.

If ULL wins, they also will have a better conference record, so taking us over them would not feel right.  The big thing we have going for us over ULL is a much larger TV market (about 10x larger).  We have an advantage over MTSU in that regard, too, but not nearly as much (Palm Beach/Broward vs. Nashville markets – probably about 2x).

Hm so I guess we want the MUTS to win, barely, in a bad low scoring game.

Otherwise you are right, ULL will have the better conference record and SHOULD go.  But you never know with the bowl committees.
