The only way the stadium would not happen by 2010 would be if they completely change direction, and decide they did not want to consider development rights as an option; thus holding out for sponsorship rights only.

"A new timeline" is not at all encouraging.  They would have enough on their hands getting the stadium ready for 2010 under the current timeline.  I don't see how this could mean anything but 2011+.

Furthermore, delaying an announcement until the spring tells me that they nothing in the pipeline and don't anticipate significant money anytime soon.  They have conceded 2010, so they have nothing but time right now.
