in regards to Waverly Austin.
"And making things even more interesting for all of the Division I college coaches who were in attendance is the fact that all four of the big men - 6'8 Brandon West, 6'8 Richard Armandi, 6'8 Waverly Austin, and 6'8 Jr Titus Rubles - on God's Academy are still available. West, who is getting the most interest from schools like LSU, Minnesota, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, Mississippi, and Texas Christian, is the best of the bunch. We're talking about a long athletic power forward who is a terrific rebounder, good shot blocker, and tough hardnosed competitor that also has the skills necessary to step out and beat you with his mid-range game. Armandi needs to get bigger and stronger physically and continue to work on his offensive skills. But he's another high flying athlete who is great at finishing above the rim and getting it done at the defensive end with his rebounding and shot blocking. So it should come as no surprise that Armandi's list continues to expand, as schools like Auburn, Kentucky, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, Mississippi, Minnesota, SMU, and Texas Christian are all in the hunt. Austin is very active, has good low post skills, and is physically strong enough to step in and make an impact a year from now at someplace like Florida State, Mississippi, Auburn, Minnesota, Texas Christian, Oklahoma State, and Texas A&M, all of which are currently showing a lot of interest. Always preface this stuff with the disclaimer that it is truly up to the Coach to evaluate, and the system they are put into, but:

I'd like to get excited about this but when you have schools like FSU in the running, it's hard to say, "Yeah, walk away from all of that and come to the Burrow." Especially after how we did this season.
