Bisons "Warm-Up" for Tonight, But Big Night Comes Wednesday
The visiting Bisons surely welcome the trip into above freezing temps from the land where weather and baseball do not enjoy a happy marriage.
But, in all reality, the real action will be wednesday, when number 2 ranked Miami makes the short bus ride to FAU Stadium.
The two nationally-recognized programs will play three times this season, with the first meeting coming Wednesday; marking the 28th meeting between the two South Florida universities since 1994.
Last year's game was a quite a festive affair, with more than 2,300 fans coming out to the park, and this year's should be as well.
University Advancement will be hosting a tailgate party. Game promotions include Tires Plus, the game's official sponsor, discount cards, and free FAU T-shirts for the first 100 fans. The FAU Band, and Spirit Teams will also be on hand for the event.
Reserved seats for the UM game are available for $12. General admission tickets can be purchased for $10.
