FAU Women's Golf Places 4TH In SBC Tournament
Seniors Praewnapa Phol-Uayporn (76, 69, 72- 217) and Kimberly D’Andrea (80, 77, 71- 228) played strong over their final 18 holes as Owls. Phol-Uayporn finished the tournament tied for sixth, her best finish at an SBC Tournament. Phol-Uayporn’s two birdies on the back nine holes gave her a total of seven for the tournament.
Boca Raton native D’Andrea registered four birdies today, including three over the back-nine. D’Andrea’s score of 71 for the final round was one under par and moved her up 12 spots.
Joining D’Andrea as the only other Owl to record their lowest round of golf on the final day is Karine Bolme (78, 83, 73- 234). Bolme hit two birdies over the final 18 holes and tied for 36 place.
The SBC Tournament crown went to No. 19 nationally ranked University of Denver .
