The Florida Atlantic University men's basketball program and head coach Mike Jarvis announced that the Mike Jarvis Basketball Academy will take place throughout two weeks of June. The first week will be held Monday, June 8 through Friday, June 12 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the second week will be Monday, June 15 through Friday, June 19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The camp will be staged in the air-conditioned basketball courts inside the newly renovated FAU Arena, 777 Glades Road , Boca Raton campus.

Offered to co-ed players ages 7 through 16, the Mike Jarvis Basketball Academy will be offered at a regular and advanced-skill level. It includes lectures and instruction by Jarvis, members of his current staff, as well as current and former Owls basketball players. Campers of all skill levels are welcome.

Participants also will experience individual instruction, skills development, lectures, games and contests. Special emphasis will be given to shooting, dribbling and defensive principles.

Cost ranges from $200 for one week to $350 for two weeks. Additionally, a bus service to and from the camp will be provided from Mission Bay Plaza in West Boca at $25 per week. For more information, call 561-482-1136 or visit www.westbocabasketball.com.
