Re: Barry Kaye and not so good news

"FAU professors voiced concerns the school was becoming too closely tied to Kaye's business. In some promotions, Kaye was referred to as an FAU professor, which he is not. FAU's name was also used in a private Web address for the symposiums."

professor

person who professes to be an expert in some art or science

Sounds to me like he definitley WAS a professor at what he did.  Whether on the payroll or not…he lecutured his cause there? They can question him all they want, but until one of them has matched the wealth and University gifts he has, while playing by the rules, their opinion doesn't matter here.

No, gifts are earmarked by the giver - according to their cause…….

Maybe Rusty will have his name on something in the future if all goes well! ;D

If his donations don't come through, his name should be taken off the College of Business. His name has been dragged through the mud so often that it hurts us more than helps us to name it after him.
