The Owls finished the 2008 season with a 7-6 record after defeating Central Michigan in the Motor City Bowl. The Owls will be lead by quarterback Rusty Smith, a 6'5" senior who was the MVP of the Motor City Bowl after passing for two td's and 306 yards."
