"Florida Atlantic University’s Treasure Coast and Jupiter campuses will no longer have one top administrator overseeing them full time.

But Joyanne Stephens plans on making regular trips to both campuses and Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute in her new role as vice president and associate provost of regional campuses.

“I’m going to be in Boca one day a week on the road all the other days,” Stephens said. “I really want to get know people in the community and really my staff. For at least the next couple of months, I’ll probably be there at least three days a week in the northern campuses.”

While six years ago FAU had five campus vice presidents, today Stephens is the only one."
