“The young guys got a lot of work in today,” said Howard Schnellenberger, FAU’s head coach. “They picked it up the last part of the two-minute drill.”
The day began with footwork and individual unit practice. The team then moved into coverage, 7-on-7 and then the two-minute drill.
Defensive end Kevin Cyrille was praised for his pass rush while the three hour practice concluded with redshirt junior Jeff Van Camp connecting with Jason Harmon in the back of the end zone.
The Owls will have their second three-a-day of the preseason on Monday. The team will take the field at 8 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. All practices are free and open to the public.
