Pre-season Camp Day 11...

Post

FAU's players went through the paces of the next to last three-a-day and hit the halfway point of preseason camp Wednesday.

“The practices got better as the day went on. Our last two recruiting classes are beginning to show promise," said head coach Howard Schnellenberger.

The 8 a.m. session featured individual work in full pads. There was a great cloud cover which made it slightly easier on the lineman who faced off against each other. The afternoon session focused on team drills.

The third and final session saw the Owls return to the field at 4:30 where they turned their attention to special teams as the team worked on punt blocking drills, followed by an extended offense versus defense scrimmage, which was capped off by focusing on goal line situations. FAU will have one practice on Thursday which is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.

You can definitely tell the difference what the newest recruit bring as far as talent goes.

IMO all around…each unit…they each have some that is impressing…a couple in particular:

OL - Niblack

DE - Czuprynski (but he is hurt right now)

RB - Morris

WR - Davis
