"Last season was the first time we had a neutral site tournament since 1993 and because it was such a success the coaches and administrators in our conference asked us to pursue the possibility of bringing all of our teams to Hot Springs," said Sun Belt Conference Commissioner Wright Waters.

"This creative new format will allow all of student-athletes and fans the chance to enjoy a special atmosphere and a great college basketball experience."

I think it is a good move to get every team involved.  Even if your team has as poor a season as we did last year, the experience of going to the tourney is a huge benefit for teams.  Good job SBC.

Also, they changed the way they schedule the road gomaes for teams now and have them bunched by geography…so no more of this got to MTSU, come home then leave the next day to go to WKU…also a great move…
