The team completed a rain soaked week of practices and finalized its preparations for Nebraska with an abbreviated session on Thursday.

Weather was once again a factor, with rain and lightening delaying the start of practice. However, once the team did take the field, the offense went through a simulated drive before the focus turned to special teams.

Coach Schnellenberger was pleased with the outcome: “It was a very good Thursday practice,” said Howard Schnellenberger “possibly one of the best (we’ve ever had).”

Of note, Ross Gornall capped the practice off by hitting a 62-yarder on the wet field.

Has anyone had a chance to see Ross kick a bunch of fieldgoals during practice?  I was just wondering if he is consistent?
