This early line isn't exactly a ringing endorsement by the gents of Las Vegas. They usually spot a home team at least three points (more if it's a school with a huge home-field advantage, such as Florida). So this is at best a "Pick 'em" assessment when home-field is disregarded. The questions: (1) Do the Owls have a significant home-field advantage at Lockhart that is worthy of three points and (2) how well prepared will they be to use all of their considerable talent for this game?

I don't believe Vegas has any idea what to do with ULM @ FAU. The safe opening line is home field -3 and see where the money goes, it's probably not very much at that.

well i just took Fau -4 off sportsbook website, it pays almost double your money.  i only had like 11.83 left in the account, so i put it all on the owls, if we lose this game or have it within 3 points, i have more to worry about than $11.00…………………….

We have shown that we can move the ball on the ground effectively (at times) against a BIG 12, and SEC opponent…the D-Line talent level we will face in the Belt is no where near (aside Troy) what we will deal with from here on out…

All this talk has been put on the passing game, but it seems as if the ground game is the unsung hero so far for the first two games - despite the outcomes.

The O-Line is doing a fine job of opening holes, and IMO will do an even better job now that we head into conference play…

Both NU and SC had a tough time tackling Morris…he was carrying the pile at SC at times…

Well, with Rusty as the QB opponents have to think defend the pass….Morris should really have some monster SunBelt games, I think they start this Saturday.  I will take that line all day, I think we crush them.
