FAU took to the practice field Tuesday with a focus on preparing for the University of Wyoming.  Saturday's match-up will mark the 100th game for the FAU Football program.

This afternoon's session began with kick and kick return drills, and continued with individual work. Focus then shifted to installation of the run and run defense for the Cowboys.

During team drills, Jeff Van Camp connected with both Jason Harmon and Rob Housler. Rusty Smith also connected with Chris Bonner for a big gain. The Owls then moved into 7-on-7 and concluded the afternoon with team drills.


Of note:

Howard Schnellenberger announced that Cortez Gent will rejoin the “varsity”.

“I’m suspending the suspension on Cortez”, said Schnellenberger.

Gent will not start on Saturday against Wyoming, but will be in the rotation at wide receiver.
