The Golden Panthers should get a win against the Hilltoppers.

And the next game should be a very interesting one to keep our eyes on, we do play the Mean Green next week.  Close game, yet the Cajuns take this one.

So even if WKU ends up with only a win or two this year… when do you think they'll turn it around? Next year? I mean, they have a good athletic reputation because of their basketball team, they have a stadium, and they've known they're going D1 for a couple of years so those recruiting classes have to be paying off pretty soon.

Wouldn't be surprised to see the same thing happen there as has happened at Troy - moving up the ranks…

They have a solid coach who can recruit…just a matter of time IMO…

Yeh its only WK's first full year in the big league…it should get better for them but luckily they don't have the same recruiting hotbed we have so might take them a little longer.

On a side note:

Taking in the game on CSS it is obvious that UNT is a MUCH improved Team…they will be a challenge for us next weekend…

Can't see us being a favorite in the game…it will be a dog fight…however, we should be able to run the ball against them effectively…and that may be the best thing to do primarily to keep Dodge and company off of the field…control the game clock, etc.

Otherwise, they will eat our secondary up and ask for seconds…they look to be more talented than any WR core we have faced thus far that runs the spread.

And UNT loses.  They seem to have a habit of losing in heartbreaking fashion.

Both teams look like they will give up lots of points, which should favor us.  So you know what that means….we'll have a chance to win the game on the last possession, but lose by 2 points again.  ::)

Like some have already said, it will take then longer to get up to par….give them a full recruiting cycle (4 years) and then we'll see where they are then.  Don't be surprise if they stay middle of the pack & just be considered a Basketball school.
