Gotta Like FAU's Chances against the Ragin' Cajuns
- [li]The Cajuns lost their top RB Undrea Sails, who suffered a broken leg[/li]
[li]FAU is 3-1 all-time versus ULL[/li]
[li]The Owls are 2-0 at Cajun Field.[/li]
[li]FAU is coming off a much deserved and long overdue victory[/li]
[li]ULL is ranked 8 out of 9 in SBC passing[/li]
[li]ULL was ranked 4 out 9 in SBC rushing, but lost top RB[/li]
[li]FAU averages more ppg than ULL [/li]
The downside: ULL has 10 total INTs – FAU only has 2 total INTs.
So this game will be our offense against their defense.

Yes, the Ragin' Cajuns are 4-2 (2-0); however…

ULL also lost one of its starting CB's to a leg injury. Dwight Bentley is out this week. All this bodes well for the Owls. Our offense should be able to score enough points to beat ULL. They gave up almost as many rushing yards to UNT as we did, so Morris should have another big day. But, this will come down to the D. If we can at least limit their running game, we should win. If the run D is as bad as last week, we won't have much success against anyone. Hopefully the D that made the final 2 defensive stands aganist UNT shows up more often on Saturday.

"Whatever adjective you choose, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s homecoming game Saturday against Florida Atlantic shapes up as more than just another Sun Belt Conference football game for the Ragin’ Cajuns."
