"Tom Oxley, a polo enthusiast and the donor behind Florida Atlantic University's athletic center, died this morning in his Highland Beach home. He was 65. He is survived by his three daughters, a son, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Oxley was diagnosed with stage IV brain cancer in October and received radiation treatment at the Lynn Cancer Institute at Boca Raton Community Hospital, his oldest daughter Diane Oxley said."
