Did you finally explain to him why you're called the Dirty Birds? I know he's asked at least twice in various interviews about the name.

its sort-a long and complicated….or possibly short and simple.

The shirt of the story was with the departure of a previous coach (cough rex cough) we decided not to go with a coaches name in the name and go more general.

We debated on a number of names from the Blue Wave, hOWLers, Dirty Birds, and others….the group voted and majority won…..

We feel that the name fits 2 years later….
