Looks like some MAJOR changes in store in the "Big Boy" AQ Conferences, like the Big11 expansion and now the Pac10 maybe becoming the Pac16!

Which means much more inclusion for some programs in the AQ category because if they change then they will probably all  change to keep up (such as the BigEast going from 8 to 12 teams or more). CUSA, WAC, MTN WEST and even the MAC and BELT will be changing or even be eliminated if this " Super Conferences" shift happens. They have to act before the BCS gets busted, so it will be done within the year and probably very fast as the competition to add programs will be huge.

At least more smaller programs will be in the mix this way, maybe even the OWLS with our BIG S. Florida TV market!

In today's news, an article on Notre Dame considering it's options regarding conference affiliation with this new wave of conference realignment. We now have the bids in from no less than six banks for the stadium financing, this is terrific news. Sign a deal and let's build this thing. With all of these new campus improvements, together with our location and accompanying TV market status, we should be a very attractive addition to any major conference.
