FAU will conclude the day against UCLA, an 11-time national champion at 1 p.m.
The Owls offense was limited to one hit. Senior shortstop Blair Bodenmiller laced a base hit to left center field in the bottom of the first inning.
Oklahoma scored three unearned runs in the third runs and two more runs an inning later.

FAU Softball Drops Season Opener 9-0 to No. 11 Oklahoma
The UCLA Bruins showcased why they are considered one of the top collegiate softball programs in the nation as the No. 8 Bruins knocked off the Florida Atlantic University softball team 11-0 on Saturday afternoon. The Owls are participating in the Elite Invitational at the National Training Center in Clermont , Fla.
UCLA connected on two home runs in the first inning. However, defensive miscues in the second inning by FAU allowed six runs to cross the plate to break the game open and give the Bruins a 9-0 advantage.
FAU recorded two hits in the nightcap with junior Kerri Croney laced a double down the left field line and fellow junior Rose Gressley pounded a hit.
The Owls fall to 0-2 on the season and will conclude the opening weekend against the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga at 11:30 a.m. FAU will battle the University of Georgia at 1 p.m. UCLA improves to 1-0 on the season.
