Does the MTSU game matter?

If it does not matter (we know we cannot get a first round bye), perhaps we should rest the starters and prepare for the SunBelt Tourney.
I think the worst we can do is the #7 seed. If we get the #6 seed it may not be that big of difference; we would need to get past either the #2 or #3 seed in game 2.
If we make it to the #5 seed, we get moved to the top bracket eventually getting the #1 seed. It may not even be possible to get to #5…
so assuming we are most likely locked in to either #6 or #7 should we rest up, and let some other players get some valuable experience or should we give it our all with our regular starters against MTSU (and hope other scenarios arise to get us a higher seed)?

Re: Does the MTSU game matter?
Worst we can be seeded is 8th…
Does the game matter?
YES.
Here's why:
If we win, ASU loses, and UL wins, we are the 5th seed. What's so special about that? You don't play at 9:45PM at night, that's what! ;D
If we win, ASU wins, and UL wins, we are the seventh seed - and playing the mid night matinee.
If we lose, and UD wins, we are the eight seed for all intents and purposes…
Bottom line, win and Hope ASU loses.
