Win moves Owls to .500 on the season

Blair Bodenmiller’s two-run homer was the highlight of FAU's 9-5 win over Eastern Michigan on Wednesday night.

Bodenmiller’s shot to center came in the fourth inning, with FAU (7-7) already leading 6-2 and was her second homerun of the year.

Rose Gressley was 2-for-2 with two runs scored on the night.

Amber Barton went five innings for her first win of the year. Taylor Fawbush gave up an earned run in two innings of relief.

The Owls return to the field on Friday to face Florida State and Eastern Michigan as part of the Miken Classic.

The games are scheduled to start at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m, respectively.
