FAU's Lawrence Gordon switches CFL teams
ESKIMOS LAND FORMER TIGER-CAT DB GORDON
After four years with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Lawrence Gordon is heading west.
The veteran import defensive back signed with the Edmonton Eskimos on Tuesday as a free agent.
Last season, Gordon had 19 defensive tackles in 11 games with Hamilton. He was the Ticats' nominee for Most Outstanding Rookie back in 2006.
"Lawrence Gordon's calling cards are his versatility and CFL experience," said Edmonton General Manager and Director of Football Operations Danny Maciocia in a statement. "His signing adds valuable depth to our defensive secondary".
Gordon has 161 defensive tackles and four interceptions over his four seasons in the CFL.
