Alexander picks up third win on the season

The Florida Atlantic baseball team continues to roll along in conference play. The Owls won a tightly contested game on Sunday afternoon 4-3 over Louisiana to earn the series victory 2-1. FAU has now won three straight conference series to open Sun Belt play.

Kevin Alexander (3-2) pitched well for the second straight outing and earned the victory. The right-hander lasted six innings and gave up two runs off eight hits with no strikeouts and one walk.
