FAU vs MTSU - Middle Tennessee leads the all-time series 8-6. The two schools last met on May 22,
2009 in the Sun Belt Championship with the Blue Raiders winning 12-7. The Blue Raiders have won the last four meetings.

- [li]Middle Tennessee split their midweek games with Austin Peay (Tuesday night) and Lipscomb (Wednesday). The Blue
Raiders committed five errors and walked seven batters in the loss to Austin Peay.[/li]
[li]Zach Hudson hit a home run in the bottom of the 12th inning to give the Blue Raiders a 21-20 win over Lipscomb.[/li]
[li]Hudson reached base seven of eight times going 4 for 5 with two walks, a home run, double, two RBI and scored three runs.[/li]
[li]Blake McDade continues to impress for the Blue Raiders this season and is currently second on the team with a .442 batting average.[/li]
[li]Sophomore Justin Guidry is one of the most improved players on the Blue Raider roster from the 2009 season. Guidry is currently batting .454 with 49 hits, 29 RBI and has scored 24 runs. While guiding the Blue Raider pitching staff, Guidry leads the team with a 3.66 ERA allowing 11 runs in 19.2 innings of work with10 strikeouts.[/li]
Inside the Owls Dugout
- [li]Florida Atlantic fell to No. 15 Miami in its only midweek game on Wednesday and won its series at UL-Lafayette 2-1 last weekend.[/li]
[li]The Owls will look to shake-off the "Friday Nights Blues" when they face Sun-Belt Conference Pre-Season Pitcher of the year Roberts - The Owls are 1-4 on Friday night games.[/li]
[li]The Owls are led by Andy Mee who is batting .390 with 41 hits, 21 RBI, 5 HR, 6 Doubles, 2 Triples and has scored 24 runs.[/li]
[li]The Owls once had as many as six batter hitting over .300 and currently have only three.[/li]
[li]Mike Albaladejo went 3-3 against the Hurricanes on Wednesday, with 2 walks, a double and scoring three of the Owls five runs.[/li]
[li]Dan Scheffler leads the team with 27 RBI, while batting .361 with 30 hits, 10 Doubles, 1 Triple, 6 HR and has scored 27 runs.[/li]
