Inside the Huricanes Dugout
- [li]The ninth-ranked University of Miami baseball team - winners of five straight and 10 of their last 12.[/li]
[li]The 10-2 conference start is the second-best since the `Canes joined the ACC, as the 2008 Hurricanes started 11-1 in their first 12 before going on to win the ACC Championship and advance to Omaha. [/li]
[li]During last Wednesday 12-5 victory over the Owls…five 'Cane hitters finished with multiple RBI in that game while freshman right-handed reliever E.J. Encinosa earned his first career win, striking out five while allowing just two hits in 3 2/3 scoreless innings. [/li]

Quote of the Day: From Coach John McCormack
"We seem to get in these lowes and no one can seem to get us out of them. For some reason we haven't been able to get everyone on the same page."
On having to play Miami after the Owls incurred their first conference series lost - "Definitely not the ideal condition."
