[li]The Owls are hitting .310 as a team while holding opponents to a .217 average.  Four players are hitting above .300…Scheffler (.404), Mee (.393), DelGuidice (.327) & Cassidy (.307).  Both Church & Pittman sit at (.298).[/li]

Quote of the Day: From Coach McCormack on Burkhalter coming off the bench to help cement the Sweep of ASU on Sunday:

"That was big time, he [Burkhalter] sat on the bench for some 26 innings jumps in the bottom of the 8th and got the job done.  That is what we needed, these guys are given opportunities and they seem to come through and do it.  That was a total team effort."

Re: Game Thread: UCF vs FAU

A double by Schefler kept things going for the Owls…putting runners at 2nd & 3rd.  With a Sac. Fly by DelGuidice, the Owls push one more run across - 2 outs with FAU up 2-0.

:-[

Everist struggled with his control a bit in the 2nd…gave the Knights three bases on walks, combined with a single & a wild pitch spotted the Knights two runs to tie things up.
