The Series: UCF leads the all-time series, 37-25.  This will mark first time the Owls have made the trip to Orlando since 2005 when both schools were members of the Atlantic Sun.  The two clubs met in Boca Raton May 4th, with UCF claiming a 14-3 victory.

• [li]Tonight's game has big implications for the Knights, a win over the Owls keeps the Knights alive for the Conference USA Tournament.[/li]
  [li]The Knights are in the hunt for their 32nd victory of the season (31 wins in 2008) will mark the most by a UCF team dating back to 2005 when it compiled 42 wins in its last season in the Atlantic Sun.[/li]
  [li]The Knights are the only school in the country to have five true freshmen make at least 35 starts in the batting order in 2010.[/li]
  [li]UCF have two players batting above .400, in Chris Duffy (.436) who ranks first in C-USA in batting average, OPS and RBI, as well as second in slugging, hits and total bases and Shane Brown (.423) sits in first place in HBP, second in OBP and doubles and third in batting average.[/li]
  [li]Another Knight making some noise is Chris Taladay, who is making a run at C-USA Freshman of the Year.  Taladay ranks first as a Freshmen in C-USA in batting average, hits, doubles, homers, total bases, slugging and OPS, also is in the top five in at-bats, runs, RBI, HBP and OBP.[/li]
  [li]The Knights have seven different players with at least 10 doubles, (led by Shane Brown who has 19) and have already set the school record with 70 home runs on the season. [/li]

• [li]The Owls will look to end a two game losing skid and do so as road warriors…FAU hold a 12-9 road record and will look to improve on their 2-5 mark, for road games against out of conference foes and look to end the Knights 14 game non-conference win streak.[/li]
  [li]Still sporting a mid-30's RPI, the Owls have only lost one Sun Belt series this year en route to a 31-19 overall record and a 19-8 conference mark.[/li]
  [li]The Owls are led by Andy Mee's .396 with a team leading 86 hits and has 47 RBIs, 8 home runs and 15 doubles.[/li]
  [li]Dan Scheffler (.393) is the team leader with 57 RBIs and 14 home runs and has collected 70 hits.[/li]
  [li]The Owls are hitting .308 as a team, with 99 doubles and 55 home runs and have six players hitting above the .300 mark.[/li]
  [li]The pitching crew hold a combined .481 ERA while holding opponents to a .278 batting average.[/li]
