9:30 PM!!!! It's dark and you are in a canal? What were they expecting? He's most likely going to lose his hand (fortunately thats all it was) because he was too stupid to realize NOT to swim in a CANAL when its dark out. And of course they had to kill the gator because of course its the alligator's fault.

Your not safe in the ocean anymore either. They found one off of Palm Beach coast not too long ago.

They've also had their third sighting of a Great White shark attacking seals of the coast on Cape Cod in the past two weeks.
Couldn't believe they mentioned this on the local Jacksonville news, and I am headed there at the end of the month!!
