Practice Pics for 09-16-10

Well, obviously there was a lot going on today with the Board of Governors approving the Stadium Plan…but the team still hit the field after three days off from action; aside from film, etc.

Grabbed a few shots of the team drill portion of the session.  For the most part the D enjoyed the upper hand…

DE Cory Henry gets past the OL to apply pressure on David Kooi…he had his first sack against MSU in grand fashion and we should see some more again this year - especially moving into conference play.

Brentley Harstad is a man on a mission lately…guy is thirsty for knowledge and soaks it up like a sponge, taking in all that the coaching staff pours out. And it is paying off.  He is another of the classic Owl walk-ons in the secondary, and will only get better with time.

Below is a prime example…play was dead for most of the team, but sticking to the "whistle rule" he goes for the extra - a strip on Lester Jean:
