Florida Atlantic enjoys a commanding lead in the series at 7-to-1, but that could change this weekend if the offense doesn't find a rhythm.
The Panthers are off to their best start ever in Conference play at 2-0, while FAU is struggling at 0-3.
The Owls open as the underdog at +6.

Well, yesterday was a tough loss for our FAU Fighting Owls.
None the less, with six games left in the season and a new stadium next year, there is still time for you to enjoy FAU football and cheer on our team.
This Saturday October 30th is the 9th annual Shula Bowl against rival FIU. This is also our homecoming game, so lets show our team and alumni that we support our FAU Owls.
While our record does not indicate it, our team continues to play strong. Win or lose I'm an Owl fan.
I hope you'll join me this Saturday at 4pm Lockhart Stadium.
Let's keep the Shula trophy where it belongs, in Boca.
Please invite people to this event to help spread the word for getting out to the game.
GO OWLS!!!

One positive from Saturday's game was that no major injuries were incurred; only a few scrapes and minor bruises.
Fourteen penalties for 142 yards was one of the biggest problems in the loss to Arkansas State, and Schnellenberger didn’t have much to say about them.
“I can’t comment about that,” Schnellenberger said.
While the defense had a solid performance, the offense managed only 16 points, and struggled at times in the game. The Owls haven’t scored more than 17 points in five straight games.
“We have to score more than we’re scoring, regardless of how the defense is playing to have a chance to win.”
Up next for the Owls is rival FIU, and coach understands the importance of the game.
“Rivalries are always big games, whether you're 1-5 or whatever your situation is. The fact that your 1-5, is a thing that we have to get right."
