Meanwhile, the Blue Raiders pulled off a narrow 27-26 comeback win against WKU, allowing coach Rick Stockstill to improve to 4-0 in one point games.
The two squads have met seven times, with MTSU enjoying a 4-3 advantage:
08/28/03 A W 20-19
09/18/04 A W 27-20
10/15/05 H L 35-14
11/04/06 A L 35-14
09/01/07 H W 27-14
09/30/08 A L 14-13
10/31/09 H L 27-20
However, Saturday's contest may be the most important yet as the loser will be left ineligible for Bowl play.
FAU opened as the underdog at +6.5, but the line has adjusted at +4.0 to +5.0 since.

This game will really show how much we have really improved in the second half of the season. Go Owls, play that hard nose defense that we played against the Golden Panthers.
Amen…last year we did that for threee quarters, then self destructed…believe we will play a full four quarters this time around.

"As coaches, we watch film and try to find weaknesses in the protection whether it is a field goal, PAT or punt," MTSU coach Rick Stockstill said. "Then during the week, that is what we practice. We study it as much as we can in order to give us an opportunity to make the plays on Saturday."

#8 MTSU quarterback Dwight Dasher — It takes a unique personality to toss four interceptions in a game twice and then say, "That happens."
#9 MTSU quarterback Dwight Dasher — How about not blaming your receivers for your 12 interceptions in six games. That's like blaming a cow for you eating too many hamburgers.

Is there any update on the game? Unfortunately I'm not home so I'm relying on Owls Nest to follow the game
