FAU punter Mickey Groody has been named Honorable Mention All-American by CollegeFootballNews.com.
Groody averaged 45.7 yards per punt for the Owls in 2010 to lead the Sun Belt and was named first-team all-conference; finishing the season No. 5 nationally.
Less than half of Groody's 72 punts on the year were returned by opponents. He had two games with punts of 70-plus yards, including his career high of 73 against FIU.
