"Rivera, a 25-year-old Estero High graduate who played wide receiver at Florida Atlantic, took over Cape's girls track and field team this year. He also works with the school's boys and girls sprinters.
In that short time, Rivera's try-to-keep-up-with-me style - he and assistant Lisa Uleno run almost every lap and drill with their athletes - has helped the Seahawks to a district sweep of the boys and girls sprint events as senior Jokira Jiles, a Dunbar High transfer, and sophomore Tyrell Johnson won the 100- and 200-meter runs, while leading their 4x100 relays to victories as well."
