QB CHANGE IS NEEDED FOR AUBURN GAME

Since Auburn will be another throw away game, should FAU experiment with its younger QB's in our upcoming game against the Tigers?

Yes
No

You must select between 1 and 20 options

No one expected FAU to beat UF or Michigan State, but no one expected such lack luster performances from our QB's in both games.

NAME               CMP ATT YDS
Graham Wilbert   18   36  122
David Kooi          2     4   11

Both Wilbert and Kooi are at 50% in throwing and have 0 TD's in 2 games.

Since Auburn will be another throw away game, should FAU experiment with its younger QB's in our upcoming game with the Tigers?

Remember, FAU started the 2006 season with Sean Clayton (upper classman), but ended up switching to young gun Rusty Smith. …Think we all know how that turned out.

I'm about to do to Graham Wilbert what ND fans did to Jimmy Clausen… ;D

HS needs to give Bracewell and Curtis a chance.  Wilbert is not DI talent.

I agree, neither jr qbs are doing anything, even if curtis or bracewell don't do any better, it is a learning experience for them and they could develop through the season and get better for next season.

but it also seems like an o-line problem too, start teaching some spread

The O line is equally to blame for the what is statistically the worst Offense in DI football.

But at least Stephen Curtis can scramble. Read his bio, he did some serious running in his high school days.

Yeah, he fits the "oh crap how are the D-Lineman in my face this quick" offense much better.  Not to mention he is built like a linebacker.

Re: QB CHANGE IS NEEDED FOR AUBURN

He could be a great fit for the Leach "pass spread" offense too! (why do I feel like I'll be really disappointed when we announce the new HC?)

Kooi has been useless, Wilbert isn't good…lets get the kids some playing time.

Hell, Colton Kane can burn that redshirt and get some playing time.

Re: QB CHANGE IS NEEDED FOR AUBURN

Give Kooi the start next game for the 1st half, with Wilbert getting 1 or 2 series in the 2nd quarter.

If neither one can get going, then let the 2 younguns alterante 3rd (Bracewell) and 4th quarter (Curtis).

If its a damn training game, then let it BE a traning game.

Im really tired of starting peole who have no game experience.

I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick @$$ and I'm out of bubble gum.

These coaches play only for today and only ever have.

Great Coaches (Coach S. WAS a great coach but he is not now) build a program by not leaving THEMSELVES an empty cupboard for next year as we have done over and over now.

2 years ago - almost the entire D gone

last year - ZERO starts on O line

This year, one career completion at qb and 12 career catches at WR.

I agree, put Curtis in and lets start building him up.

I hate the whole change qb the 1st play of the 2nd qtr.
