FAU seniors Kevin Cyrille and Alfred Morris have received invitations to play in the inaugural Battle of the Florida All-Star Game to take place on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 8 p.m. at FAU Stadium.
Cyrille has tallied 31 total tackles, including 7.5 for a loss of 29 yards. Cyrille is listed No. 4 among FAU’s all-time sack leaders with 8.5, No. 5 in yards lost, No. 8 in forced fumbles and No. 1 in quarterback hurries. He is a three-year starter and has just surpassed the 100 career tackle plateau.
Morris has assaulted the FAU record books assuming the top spot in several categories over the last few weeks. He is No. 1 in total touchdowns scored, rushing touchdowns, rushing yards and in all-purpose yards. He needs 84 yards to become the first player in FAU history to have two 1,000 yard season.
The game will be coached by NCAA legends Bobby Bowden (North Florida) and Howard Schnellenberger (South Florida).

is this how the state will be divided?
If this is the case; who you think Howard will be inviting?
T.Y. Hilton from FIU is coming for sure.
Who will be the QB? Daniels from USF?

The qualification for being invited is that the player is from Florida, not that they currently play for a Florida school…accordingly, it is not schools from the north versus schools from the south…additionally, an invitee could feasibly play for a northern school and end up on the southern team based on what part of the state they were from…
Also, just so there is no confusion, FAU is not hosting the game.

· Josh Bellamy- Playing WR at Louisville University- Played HS in Tampa
· Alfred Morris- Playing RB at Florida Atlantic- Played HS in Pensacola
· Emmanuel Lamur- Playing LB at Kansas State- Played HS in Delray Beach and West Palm Beach
· Sammuel Lamur- Playing QB at Kansas State- Played HS in West Palm Beach
· A.J. Love- Playing WR at USF- Played HS at Bradenton Southeast
You may be asking why Cyrille is not listed, well they are only sending some of the list at a time…
So, he should appear shortly
