Dont know how I feel yet.  Pelini is a big name in college football.  Nebraska is a serious defense.

Teambeer is the most knowledgeable FAU sports fan I know, way smarter than me.

Re: Carl Pelini accept FAU job?

Per ESPN's Joe Schad:

FAU believes Pelini, the brother of Nebraska head coach Bo Pelini, will bring discipline and organization, solid defense and effective recruiting. FAU is likely to employ a spread-based, up-tempo offense.

Re: Carl Pelini accept FAU job?

Via Sean Callahan - 10:10 pm ESPN's Joe Schad told me tonight and has also tweeted that Carl Pelini and FAU have verbally come to terms. The interesting thing Schad told me he was told was Carl Pelini did a great job of selling to FAU he'd bring in a "great spread minded offensive coordinator" to compliment his defensive mind.
