A NEW ERA IN OWLS' FOOTBALL IS HERE!


Florida Atlantic University's football team will play its 2012 Spring Game on Saturday, April 14 at 6 p.m., at FAU Stadium. The game will be the first opportunity for fans to get a glimpse of the 2012 Owls. FAU will split the squad into two teams (Blue and White) and face-off, with the up-tempo game featuring more than 10 seniors playing in their final spring game.

Festivities begin at 4 p.m. with a "Salute the Hoot Tailgate Challenge" outside of Gate 1. An inflatable, interactive area, as well as live music will be on tap. Fans can like us on Facebook prior to game by entering the contest with pictures. 2011 season ticket holders and single game ticket buyers also will receive an email to enter to win an autographed football from FAU Head Football Coach Carl Pelini. The equipment staff also will have a limited supply of old jerseys and slightly used athletic wear for sale.

A "Select-A-Seat" will begin at 5 p.m. for those wishing to purchase new season tickets. Patrons who decide to purchase brand new season tickets at the Select-A-Seat event will receive an exclusive FAU gift. Current season ticket holders may also upgrade to a different location at this time. During the two weeks following the Spring Game, the FAU athletics ticket office will host the first season ticket holder Appreciation Days. Every weekday between April 16 and April 30, a random season-ticket holder will win a great prize. Eligible patrons include season-ticket holders who renewed by the March 30 deadline, as well as patrons who bought brand new season tickets during the Select-A-Seat event on April 14.

An interactive area including street teams and inflatables also will open at 4 p.m.
